The Burning Issues in Psychiatry conference will be held in Beirut, Lebanon on 27-28 October 2011.

It is planned to hold the conference every two years, and to address the current issues in Psychiatry at the time of the conference.

The subject for the first conference is – Bipolar Spectrum

It will be co-chaired by Prof E Karam (LEB) & Dr E Hantouche (F).

International Review of Bipolar Disorders – Marseilles, France – April 2012

The International Review of Bipolar Disorders is an annual conference that is attended by over 1500 delegates. The conference provides a forum for European Psychiatrists to meet on an annual basis, and provides the perfect stepping stone upon which to base an organization which encourages an ongoing dialogue between like-minded individuals.

Key sponsors for the 2011 conference were AstraZeneca, Bristol-Myers Squibb and Otsuka Pharmaceuticals.

The 2012 conference will be held in Marseilles, France. We hope this conference will be as much of a success as the 2011 event.

Winter Workshop in Psychoses – Marakesh – 2013

Innsbruck provided a wonderful backdrop for the second of the re-born Winter Workshops and the quality of the meeting surpassed the high standards of the first conference.

The Winter Workshop in Psychoses is a clinical and research conference focusing on Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorders and other Psychoses.

The 2013 conference will be held in Marakesh, the date is yet to be decided. We expect the 2013 conference to be formally launched in the second half of 2011.
